Nebraska grown music is coming to Ord on July 21st as the Good Living Tour kicks off a 12-community tour across Nebraska. The Good Living Tour, created by Hear Nebraska, is a non-profit advocating the advancement of Nebraska made music. The goal of the Good Living Tour is to bring national touring acts from Nebraska to smaller communities across the state.
Unique to the Ord tour date will be a festival kicking off in downtown Ord at 4pm. The Ord Farmers Market will be setting up on Thursday evening instead of Friday that week from 5-7pm in downtown Ord. Additionally, an entrepreneur showcase, art on the square and early entertainment will begin downtown starting at 4pm.
The local Good Living Tour steering committee is seeking individuals interested in showcasing their entrepreneurial talents along with food vendors interested in selling prepared food during the festival hours of 4-7pm.
The Good Living Tour concert series begins at 7pm at the Golden Husk and is an all-ages, free concert. For those interested in setting up an entrepreneur booth, contact Dahn Hagge at (308) 730-2294.
