American Craft Beer Week is here! From all of us at Scratchtown, thank you for supporting us and American craft brewers. The dollars you spend are supporting American businesses that invest at home, create jobs at home and give back to home. We want to thank you for your loyalty and support.
We’re celebrating #ACBW2015 twice this week: a special one-off keg tapping at 4pm on Thursday & our ACBW BBQ Competition on Saturday. Details are below:
— Thursday, May 14 @ 4PM: Special release of Chardonnay Oak-aged Wonder Twins DIPA – on till it’s gone!
— Saturday, May 16 from noon – 4pm: BBQ Competition, Special Collaboration Beer Release and Food/Fundraiser for the Ord Food Pantry. The event kicks off with a special tapping of Corncob Smoked Cream Ale, a collaboration beer made with Kinkaider Brewing Company of Broken Bow, Grain Place Foods of Marquette & Cetak’s Specialty Meats here in Ord. This is our first featured beer in our collaboration series called the “Sandhills Series” of beers.
— Food will be served at 2pm until we’re out; we’re featuring BBQ tri-tip beef in celebration of May Beef Month. We’re thankful for the sponsorship of the event in partnership with Nebraska Cattlemen/Burwell Affiliate.
— We’re also asking for donations of these items for the Ord Food Pantry: cash donations, canned foods, mac & cheese, cereal, noodles, Hamburger Helper, ketchup & mustard, Sloppy Joe mix, blankets, diapers and formula.
