BEER SUPPER WITH JUBILEE

Grain to glass. Farm to table. Our Winter 2020 Beer Supper is an event we’ve been dreaming of since began them. Teaming up with Jubilee Events & Catering, we offer a multi-course meal with select beer pairings, along with a social hour to kick-off each supper. Special to this year, we’re sourcing every dish and beer with Nebraska ingredients.
A commemorative 6oz. tasting snifter will be included with the ticket price for each guest. Tickets are $40/each. Tickets are for sale on a first-come, first serve basis. The beer supper menu will be:
Appetizer: Hot Goat Cheese Dip with Baguette (goat cheese from Shadow Brook Farm and Dutch Girl Creamery, Lincoln NE). Beer pairing: Freshly Fugg’d Up English Pale Ale (made with fuggle hops from Loup Valley Hops of Ord, NE).
Salad: Fancy Salad and Spinach with Micro Greens, Fresh Feta, Walnuts & Honey Balsamic Dressing (micro greens from Yum Yum Greens, Lincoln NE; feta from Shadow Brook Farm and Dutch Girl Creamery, Lincoln NE; honey from Shel-Bee’s Honey, Ord NE). Beer pairing: Wagner Pils (made with Chinook hops from Legendary Roots Brewing Supply of Ord, NE).
Main Course: Ossobuca (Beef Shank Steak), Emmer Wheat with Mushrooms & Roasted Vegetable (beef from Ord Locker, Ord NE; wheat from Sterling Emmer Wheat, Comstock NE mushrooms from Nebraska Mushroom, Grand Island, NE). Beer pairing: 500 Hills Porter (made with Cascade hops from Loup Valley Hops of Ord, NE).
Dessert: Rhubarb Short Cake with Whipped Cream (rhubarb from Bud Glen, Ord, NE). Beer pairing: Cool Beans Coffee Blonde Ale (made with hops from Legendary Roots Brewing Supply of Ord, NE & coffee beans from Normal Roasting Co. of Burwell, NE).
